Change your password or login email

1. Open Account and go to the Password section.
2. Tap Change password.
3. Enter your current password and a new one, then tap Save.

Use at least 12 characters. A strength meter helps you pick a good one. All your other devices are logged out and need an email code to sign in again.

If you signed up with Google, the button reads Set password. Setting a password lets you also log in with your email.

1. In the Emails section of Account, tap the pencil labelled Change email.
2. Enter the New email and your Current password, then tap Update.

The change takes effect immediately. You need a password to use this, so Google-only accounts set one first. Sign-in codes go to the login email.
