Review a draft contract

The pre-lease contract flow is available on rented properties. A stepper shows three stages: Draft, Review and Signed. Anyone on the property can upload and comment on the draft. If you already signed a contract elsewhere, an admin can tap Already signed on the Contract card before any draft is uploaded to skip the steps; you can still upload the agreement under Docs.

1. On the Contract card on Home, tap Upload contract.
2. Choose Scan, Photos or PDF. Photos are combined into one PDF, with up to 40 pages.
3. Wait for the upload to finish. Everyone on the property can now open it.

If the other side is not on the property yet, the card offers an Invite button.

1. Open the contract and tap Pin comment, then tap the spot on the page. Or use the comments button for a general comment.
2. Write your comment and send it. Others can reply.
3. When a point is settled, tap Resolve. Use Reopen to bring it back.

You can edit or delete your own comment for 15 minutes after posting it. Open comments are counted on the Contract card. Comment emails are bundled in a daily summary.

• Tap New version to upload a changed draft and describe what changed. Older versions are kept and marked Older.
• When the latest version is agreed, the person who uploaded it or an admin taps Mark final. Everyone can then upload their signed copy, and the stage moves to Review.
• Uploading a new version after that sends the contract back to Draft.
